    BMW MOTORRAD USA SALES BULLETIN

    JULY – AUGUST SALES SUPPORT PROGRAMS

    As we up shift into the latter half of the riding season, BMW Motorrad USA would like to announce the following Sales Support Programs.

    • We ask that you please read the bulletin and program grids thoroughly. For full operational details on the BMW Motorrad Sales Programs listed in this bulletin, please refer to the BMWMotorrad Sales Support Bulletin Guidelines (SA_01_24):

    July – August Program Highlights

    • Discontinuation of FS Payment Waivers for the R18 model lineup (all model years).
    • The majority of our MY23 lineup continues to enjoy a 0% APR rate (subject to term length).
    • Select MY24 models will receive a 2.9% APR rate (subject to term length).
    • All our MY24 R18 lineup will continue to enjoy a 0% APR rate (subject to term length).
    • Cash enhancements to select MY24 motorcycles.
      • Notably: S 1000 RR, R 1250 GSA, K1600 B/Grand America (please refer to the program grids below).

    IMPORTANT UPDATE

    • Please note we have implemented a change to our retail processing types and aligned them with the car side. This change will improve incentive processing, automating eligible program incentives at the time of RDR. This means less incentives submissions and waiting for reimbursement. Please refer to bulletin SA 33 24 for more details and a step by-step handbook regarding the change.

    JULY – AUGUST SALES SUPPORT RATE/CASH GRIDS (MODEL YEAR 2023)

    STANDARD GUIDELINES AND OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS

    • For full operational details on the BMW Motorrad Sales Programs listed in this bulletin, please refer to the BMW Motorrad Sales Support Bulletin Guidelines (SA_01_24)
    • As with all programs, BMW Motorrad reserves the right to audit, modify, optimize, or cancel as it deems necessary.
    • All sales support program incentive claims/disputes must be submitted, reviewed, and paid within 180 days of RDR. No incentive claims will be paid after 180 days.
    • Model Eligibility
      • Only models represented within this bulletin are eligible for support during the respective program period.
      • Qualifying units for the program incentive must be new, untitled, sold, delivered and RDR’d at the dealership that makes the sale during the program period.
      • BMW Motorrad USA Auction and Authority motorcycles reported to a dealership, including Type Z are excluded from all dealer and customer facing incentives.
      • Motorcycles must be purchased through an authorized BMW Motorrad USA dealer. Purchases through a 3rd party or BMW dealers outside the USA are not eligible.
      • Motorcycles sold to brokers or not delivered by dealership employees to the retail customer are not eligible for sales support.
    • Important Note Regarding Stop Sale Vehicles and/or the sale of vehicles with Open Safety Campaigns
      • Please be reminded that it is a violation of federal law (The Safety Act) for you to sell, lease or deliver any new motor vehicle covered by an open Safety Campaign until the recall repair has been performed. This means that centers may not legally deliver new motor vehicles to consumers until they are fixed.
      • No vehicle should be reported as sold (“RDR”) until the recall repair is completed. This will apply to all retail types including Demonstrators, Center Employee, and BMW NA Company Vehicles. If a vehicle is RDR’d before the recall repair is completed, that vehicle will be ineligible for applicable brand related bonus monies, or a chargeback of applicable incentives will apply.
      • You cannot report a vehicle as sold into the manufacturer’s retail reporting system, expecting to complete the recall remedy at some future date. Substantial civil penalties apply to violations of the Safety Act.
